The time is almost for an Europe vacation!! Travelling long distances with kid could be challenging if they are struggling with jetlag or they are sick. I strictly setting Mini M for ...
+ drinking lots of water; staying well hydrated will make a big difference from getting sick and bowel movement difficulty
+ eating healthy foods and snacks and avoid excessive sugar which would create a quick energy boost followed by an ugly crash
+ having his sleep at nighttime and stay awake during the day; the sooner his body makes the transition to being awake during daylight hours, the lesser jetlag he would have
+ bringing his favorite toy-along on the trip. The psychological comfort of a familiar item would help him feel less stressed and better prepared to cope up with
+ scheduling the first few days of our vacation lightly and be prepared to be flexible
+ trying to preserve familiar routines and rituals [nap time, bedtime stories] to help him ground himself in the unfamiliar setting
+ packing kid's medicine kit
I have applied a month school absence for this time Europe tour for Mini M. And by considering Mini M from being drop out from his playhouse class, I am bringing his top pick worksheet + stationary + books on this trip too.
:: lego ::
Mini M is a collection fan of LEGO bricks since he started to play Baby Lego when he was just 7 months old. And we could not deny he has grown up that he is asking for newer a Lego product lines, which contain complex kits for building robots, helicopters, pirate ships and other elaborate constructions for older kids. A real boy games.
As a parent, I could honestly vouch for the appeal, educational value, and researched benefit of playing with LEGO bricks. It then has been around for decades for a reasons of its ...
+ engaging
+ strengthens sorting skills
+ develops fine motor + coordination skills
+ works off his strengths
+ encourage imagination [it could be anything]
+ fun + universal
The bestest part of it is that they can be continuously added to. This means that Mini M could make a vast collection and by this increases the scope of what he could do. For instance he would be able to build a Lego city or a huge robot for future planning.
I would love to observe Mini M picked up his model at various stages of construction and imagine what the half-built project “looks like.” To watch such spontaneous imaginative play from him is an amazing and valuable experience.
:: summer ::
Happy summer vacation to all! We have plenty trips to go with Mini M.
