:: chinese herbology ::

Preparation 
+ Place the herbs into the clay pot. Add aprroximately 1 inch water above to cover the herbs to soak for 20 minutes.
+ Bring it to boil until the water is boiling vigorously; smaller the gas to simmer for 30 minutes.
+ Place and filter decoction in a bowl.
+ Add water to the claypot of herbs and re-boil for 40 minutes by repeating the above procedure. 
+ Place and filter the second decoction into a same bowl. And serve.


Reminder :
+ Over boiling is not recommended because some of the decoction efefctiveness would lost in evaporation
+ Take the decoction one hour after a meal
+ It is beneficial to drink the decoction before going to sleep.







1. Traditional Chinese herbs claypot distributes the heat evenly. Do not use metal pot [stainless steel, aluminium or cast iron] these pots will destroy or greatly weaken the effectiveness of the herbal decoction

4. Ready decoction
